• Preferably use gum paste, flower paste, or fondant mixed with Tylo powder or CMC.
• Roll out thinly on a surface dusted with cornstarch or icing sugar, to a thickness of 1 - 2mm.
• Let it air-dry for a few minutes before cutting. This prevents the paste from being too sticky.
• Press the cutter firmly into the gum paste, flower paste, or fondant.
• Gently rub over the top or roll over with a small rolling pin to ensure the shape is cut cleanly.
• Carefully remove the decoration from the cutter, using a cocktail stick if necessary.
• Let the decorations harden briefly.
• Use the decoration flat on your cake or place it on wire to create a cake topper.
